Join us on August 12th as we explore ways that employers and agents can work directly with providers! This discussion is lead by board member Dylan Melling. And, Rochelle Forrest Hankins, RN, BSN, MSM, will present CE this day.  This course prepares Indiana health insurance professionals to navigate palliative care, hospice, and advance directives with confidence and clarity. Attendees will gain practical knowledge and ethical guidance to better support clients during critical healthcare decisions.

ABOUT THE CE: Equipping Indiana Health Agents to Navigate Palliative Care, Hospice, and Advance Directives with Clarity and Compliance

As Indiana’s population ages and chronic conditions continue to drive the majority of healthcare needs, it is increasingly important for agents to understand end-of-life care options across all populations. This course provides a clear, compliant overview of palliative care, hospice services, and advance directives, including how each is defined and covered under Medicare. Participants will learn how to engage in thoughtful, professional conversations with clients and their families while maintaining appropriate boundaries. By strengthening both technical knowledge and communication skills, this session helps agents reinforce their role as trusted advisors.

CE SPEAKER Bio

Rochelle Forrest Hankins, RN, BSN, MSM, brings more than four decades of nursing experience in healthcare education and advocacy. Throughout her career, she has helped patients, families, and professionals navigate complex healthcare decisions with clarity and compassion. In addition to her work as a consultant improving patient access and care delivery, Rochelle is a breast cancer survivor, offering a personal perspective on the importance of informed decision-making. She currently serves as a Sales Executive with Encore Health Network, where she is dedicated to equipping insurance professionals to better serve their clients with integrity and care.
